On the day
We will gather around 4pm at Corrour station house as some people are arriving by train for 3.30. We will be walking down to Loch Ossian (15 min walk) weather permitting and we aim to start the ceremony at the loch side for around 4.30. Transport down to the loch side will be available for a few people.
Whilst May is generally a dry month, the ground can be a little bit marshy so advice is wear sensible shoes or wellies! Ladies (and gents) that like their high heels can don them again at the station house.
If the weather isn't on our side on the day we will just hold the ceremony inside at the station house.
After the ceremony we will return to the station house for a delicious spread of locally produced food and being our wedding you can expect a curry or two. And of course there will be drinks!
The key to the day is anything goes, this is a really informal wedding without the usual traditions, though of course we'll have a speech or two. We want people to have a relaxed and enjoyable day, share some good company and make the most out of the spectacular surroundings.
Our family and friends being there is the best gift of all so please do not feel you have to buy something for us.
For people that wish to give something, you would be very welcome to bring some baked goodies that we can add to the dessert on the day. We are arranging a honeymoon next year for India so any small tokens towards our honeymoon fund are also most welcome.
If you could please confirm your attendance via the RSVP link below. You can also use this contact to get in touch if you have any other questions.
See you all in May!
